No need to feel bad. At the end cotto made the same mistake that tyson did getting a young trainer to have in his back pocket so he can call all the shots, whatever reason he did it whether he thought he had enough skill to handle his own, if cotto continues to fight which imo he shouldnt get rid of santiago and get some1 who can give him instructions instead of saying fight smart. Not taking nuttin away from pac he did work.

I don't think it's unfair to call Cotto overrated. Most people don't know the meaning of the word "overrated". It doesn't mean he isn't a good fighter, I just think that when Cotto was coming up, there were a lot of fans saying he would destroy Mayweather and Pacquiao.

Remember the signs we saw in his fights that were calling out those two fighters?

I think early on Cotto was a little overrated in the sense that he could be an elite fighter in the WW division, right up there with Mayweather and Pac and he's not.

He still is a very, very good fighter though.

If you're a Boxing fan, you gotta show respect to Cotto. The guy's got a lot of heart and has given us some great fights and has good wins under his resume.

This was a big turn in the crossroad of his career. Let's see what adjustments he makes this time around.

Being a fan of Cotto's though, I can tell you he won't be fighting as long as Mosley has been able to keep fighting. I see him hanging up the gloves in a couple yrs, and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Salute to Cotto and his Boriqua fans!

Respect to Cotto, even though i thought he would win by K.O i guess his punching power was talked up a little too far before the fight but respect to the man. He hopefully helped set up one of the biggest fights in boxin history make it happen floyd n manny
