I agree with everything you posted, but I think you might be missing why Floyd made those points. He just basically heard what all the fans think of him in that 20 minute interview with RA The Ruggedman. The whole reason that interview is so popular, is because RA told him directly, what many fans have thought about Floyd for years. So after that, he is saying that he already sees what would be said about the match-up and/or the victory. And to be honest, I agree with him 100%.

Floyd himself said JMM and Pacquiao were smaller,

so you're saying,

only Floyd can make those observations?

Or, did he paint himself into a corner with all of his contradictions?

All he had to do was fight the best of the welterweight division instead of bringing up smaller men all the time.
