He beat the man who KO'd Cory Spinks in St. Louis in Zab Judah. Zab was the recognized champion after that. Sure there were other belts out there but Zab was the champ. Baldomir beat Zab and took all his belts except the IBF belt for which he refused to pay sanctioning fees. Floyd beat both men. It's not Floyd's fault that Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, or Clottey wasn't the recognized champ.

He took 2 years off and campaigns at welterweight right? Why didn't he fight a tune-up against a real welterweight? You wouldn't have preferred to see him fight Berto or even Collazo, as opposed to making Marquez jump up two divisions?

IMO JMM beat Pac twice. On even terms.
