I look at it like this.. If shot ass Cotto was getting the better of Pac when he boxed, that Floyd can do the same thing except 50x better.. Cotto got in trouble when he exchanged recklessly..

Mayweathers reach is freakish for his height,he will control the distance flicking the jab and pot shot Manny to death. Manny is gonna have to lounge in throwing punches and Floyd will pick him apart.. Pac may win some earlier rounds before Floyd figures him out completely..

I think Floyd will be hurt at least once during the fight which makes it so exciting.

It has everything to do with it because Cotto's one of the top WWs today Floyd never fought along with Shane Mosley. Pacquiao's climbed up weight class after weight class and the fight with Cotto to me was the true test if he could fight amongst the elite at that the division, and he more than proved he could.

In a fight with Mayweather, his defense would be key, but as I stated prior Floyd's defense works great against guys who aren't very active to where Floyd could have time to set up. That would be very difficult to do with Pacquiao who in my eyes has improved greatly all around and can take shots from a real WW.

I can't tell you who'd win because it's such a close fight, but I also don't see a Marquez'esque performance from Floyd in this fight. Pac's shown he's passed those days with Marquez.
