Mayweather vs. Pacman FIGHT BREAKDOWN & DISCUSSION Thread.

I'll Start:

I think the fight will go like this.

Manny will have sucess early landing sneaky shots that Floyd usaully doesnt get hit with....and because of Pacs speed he will get some sneaky ones in.

But after that Floyd will jab...and do his right -hand lead..left hook routine...and mix it up...and then he'll start to time Pac and Pac will be hesistant to throw.

Floyd will fight the shorter Pac from the outside and try to out box him..he will spin him..make him miss and discourage him most of the fight.

Floyds lead right hand will be a problem as manny has shown he cant defend str8 rights at all.

Pacman is one of the few guys who can match Floyd for stamina so Floyd will have to fight until its over...he cant take breaks aginst Pacman.

Floyd is to smart to get in a pissing contest with Pac and try to go to war with him...he wont....he will counter off the ropes..counter in the middle of the ring and he will take Pacs best pucnh away from him.

Floyd unlike Cotto, JMM, and Hatton can match Pac as far as speed.

This fight will go 12 because Floyd will not attatck Pac unless he seriously hurt and Pac has shown a good chin.

Pac will steal some early rounds but Floyd is to hard to hit and to complete of fighter for Pac to have his way with.

thats a reasonable senerio. the thing about this fight is that both fighters are so fast and skilled that i can see a number of possible senerios. but im leaning toward floyd being able to outbox pac on the outside and counter him like JMM did

Originally, I thought Floyd would off set Manny's punches with his defense. But man, the thing about Manny is he's not only fast, but very very active...something Floyd isn't used to.

Also, I think it's safe to say Pacquiao has legit power at WW as well as a chin. Floyd performs his best against guys who are patient enough to let him set up. Pacquiao doesn't give you that time. He throws from so many awkward angles that you gotta be on your toes the entire fight.

I was picking Floyd to win if they fought, but I just don't know anymore. Manny's beaten arguably the #1-2 WW in the world in devastating fashion coming up from 130lbs only a year ago. You guys gotta start recognizing greatness when you see it.

It's a pick 'em fight. Both fighters are too good at what they do to be dominated. If Pacquiao can figure out his defense he wins, if he can't Mayweather wins. I doubt their is any knockdowns, I think it's gonna end up being Pac UD or Mayweather UD.

pac also punches from weird angles that fighters arent use to but floyd is good at adapting so maybe he can off set that. damn i hope this fight gets made

That's the thing I'm wondering about. Floyd's defense is excellent, but Manny throws punches from ****ed up angles and he does it so quickly. Floyd can dodge and block a lot of punches, but eventually he's gonna get hit and Manny has some pop.

Manny cant fight going backwards either.....But I think Floyd stays outside to avoid being hit with something big unless Manny is really hurt.
