Mayweather likely wouldn't break cotto down or anything like that, like Pac did. Floyd would try to tactically beat Cotto, neutralize his weapons as best he can and so forth.

I think May would have to use movement and dodging moreso than his defensive shell and shoulder roll, which he probably could. In his defensive shell, he might get battered to the body too much a la Castillo.

And then just counter Cotto all night. Cotto can be countered, after all.

    Mayweather by decision
Cotto would have inflicted more damage to floyd than castillo, he's got a very real chance of KOing floyd during those time and I agree that the only way floyd would be by a decision.

And pretend that Mayweather didn't try to have a fight with Cotto in the past while ur at it.
it's the truth and every boxing fan knows it. Floyd retired while cotto was an undefeated welterweight champ. Take it as it is. LOL

LOL watch Floyd try to call Cotto out now that Pacman has defeated him... Then if he beats Cotto.. He shall say, "I defeated Cotto better than Pacquiao did"

The cotto that fought bravely for the first four round against pac would have easily beaten floyd. True story.

I agree he could have a chance of KO'ing Floyd to the body. Floyd's superb technical skills as far as defense are concerned make it not as likely to me, but the chance is very real.

I tend to doubt Floyd could take the same shots that Pac took the other night. Pac has some chi power or something going on. Very impressive.

Floyd was talking of retiring since the Gatti fight. He also jumped welter to fight DLH at junior middleweight, in DLH's choice of gloves, in DLH's choice of ring. These are things you just don't want to see because you drank too much of the hateraid.

He asked for a fight with Cotto and Mosley in the past. Why blame him if the fights weren't made?

The featherweight that done better against Pacman than Cotto did.

I agree, it still say that floyd did not fight an undefeated cotto and chose to retire. He came back because he was having some financial problem and played it safe by fighting a bloated featherweight.
