I think Cotto deserves the benefit of the doubt after the Margarito raps scandal .Look what happened to Billy Collins Jr for example .Plus look what Pac's power done to Hatton .Knocked him clean out .Cotto was going to stay in there to the final bell if he could.

he was running to avoid the serious beating he was taking he tried backing Pacman up didn't work he tried to out box him it didn't work
after a while he gave up and just wanted to finish the fight on his feet

like i said in another thread you would never catch Felix Trinidad running even if he is getting beat comprehensively

Cotto kept taking a knee in the Margarito fight aswell to avoid punishment we should've seen this coming

Not only did he show he has no heart in that fight but he also showed how overrated he is. Cotto should've retired after the Margarito fight cause clearly he's a shade of his former self.

I'm sorry but in comparison to the warriors that have come before Cotto, I just don't feel he measures up to warrior status.

I feel he is a start boxer, but doesn't have the greatest resolve in the game.

yeah i agree i was sittin next to my friend watching the fight and i was shocked that miguel cotto wasnt trying to at least give it one last shot and go down swinging like a champ and for the haters out there that blame it on him not having a great trainer it dont matter cuz the fightter is the one in the ring and i was upset that miguel cotto went into survival mode and wasn't trying to win even though he showed alot of heart it still dont make it right to run around the ring like he with out trying to get his shots in..i think he needs to think about wheter or not he really wants to fight again..at least the great arturo gatti came to fight no matter who the opponent was
