No he didn't, he stunned Pacquiao because at 130 Marquez is a PUNCHER. He could definentely knock somebody out. It was the same deal though, I've never seen Pacquiao "hurt" only stunned. Unless you count when he was 17 years old.

Who would you rather not get punched by? Cotto easily.

Marquez even at 130 and 126 wasn't considered a big puncher, he was considered a precise, accurate puncher who chopped his opponents down. Pacquiao was hurt at the end of one of the rounds against Marquez in the rematch, hurt against Larios, Hussein and Yeshmagambetov.

a pacquiao who doesn't cut weight at ww can take a punch better than a pacquiao cutting 10-15 lbs. to fight at 126-130.

          possible? no?

For sure, I think that's one of the reasons why he was able to take some of the shots Cotto landed, because he didn't have to cut weight. But still, Mayweather's precise punches can hurt him.

How many times has Floyd knocked Marquez down?

And how many times has Pacquiao knocked Marquez down?

Now take Manny's power up to WW and you'll see a much more powerful punch than the drained version of Pacquiao at 130 we saw.

Floyd does not have great power. He is similar to Pacquiao in the way that his fast punches can catch you by surprise and deck you, but Manny's have the same kind of speed, only with excellent power behind them as well.

The Mayweather-Marquez fight was never getting stopped. Marquez was out-boxed, which pretty much everyone expected anyway. He couldn't put Marquez away, no matter what anyone says. He failed to do it. And he did try.

"Oh, Floyd was being nice and taking it easy because he likes Marquez."

I can't believe someone actually wrote that on here recently.

I sincerely hope we see Pacquiao-Marquez III, if anything just to shut certain people up. At 140, Marquez will be knocked out. He cannot compete with Pacquiao at his best, which is when he can fight without cutting a ton of weight.

Punching power? Cotto got that. Who has the better chance to KO Manny? Floyd no doubt. Speed, accuracy, and pure skill will get the job done. Pac will be blindsided while off balance.
