What happens when Mayweather completely dominates Pacquiao?

Pacquiao is a product of careful matchmaking. Cotto's chin was ruined after Margarito's plaster, and his mind was mentally weak. He was already at a stylistic disadvantage in the first place. Add in him being shot, 2lbs drained with a ruined chin, and you get what you saw.

However, right now the media disagrees with this even if it's obvious to see and even Roach admitted it all himself. Cotto was dangerous due to his power, but by far the most vulnerable fighter at WW as well.

So..., they have Pacquiao as not only an ATG, but top 10 or top 20. He beat a legitimate (even if a ruined one at 145) Welter Weight, so he *proved* he is not the smaller man against Mayweather, who is not as big as Cotto in the ring.

Keep in mind, Morales whooped Pacquiao even though his career was over. As seen when Raheem totally dominated him using the slick American Boxing style, right after Morales whooped Pacquiao. Coming off his one-sided domination by Raheem, Morales was forced to DRAIN weight for the Pacquiao rematch and Pacquiao STILL went life and death with a shot drained Morales.

Also, Marquez out-boxed Pacquiao twice and arguably beat him twice as well. According to the very same people (Bert Sugar, Yahoo!, ESPN, etc) who are now calling Pacquiao the best in the sport right now.

Pacquiao basically fought the same fighter 3 fights in a row. Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto were all left hand dominant fighters with strong left hooks with no right hand, all 3 were declined and no longer the same fighters as they once were, with Oscars decline and weight problems being the most obvious. The type of fighter to beat Pacquiao must posses a good straight right hand, such as Morales and Marquez. Pacquiao has fought tailor made opposition since going life and death with the smaller Marquez.

Pacquiao has proved he's the greatest boxer against tailor made opposition. We have not seen him fight a defensive fighter who will neutralize his offensive ability, ever.

    My question to everyone is...

Will Mayweather get full credit for embarrassing Pacquiao and exposing him as way beneath his level in terms of Boxing skills all around. OR, will Mayweather be called the "bigger man" and never get his accolades? Both fighters started out at 106lbs, except Mayweather was in the amateurs while Pacquiao was a kid in the pro's. Mayweather did lose in the amateurs, and Pacquiao was brutally KO'd twice in those lower weights. It proves that their time spent at those lower weights are blown highly out of proportion.

If Floyd Mayweather Jr. makes Manny Pacquiao look like Bobby Pacquiao, will he finally get his credit as the greatest boxer of this era?

No, Mayweather is too skilled for his own good. He will never get credit.

Yes, Pacquiao is the greatest! If Floyd dominates him, he proves he's really the best.

What happens when Mayweather Jr avoids Pacquiao all together because his father Snr tells him to. Do you commit suicide when you realize the truth that some fighters don't want to take risks!?

Taking risk? You mean fighting a shot, disadvantaged, and weakened fighter as the 3/1 favorite?

We'll file this thread in the post where Floyd dominated Margarito, Williams, Cotto, Shane, and Winky Wright.

Can he wait until they are shot and drain them, like Pacquiao does?

                    Both came from 106.
