If Cotto got caught in round 2 with the same punch that Ricky did he would have been out of there as well. Yes, I know he wasnt ****** enough to run into the shot like that, but Ricky is a front foot fighter so apart from not keeping his hands up there wasnt alot he could do to avoid the shots - also nobody knew that Pac was bringing that type of power up to the division.

Mark my words, after the beating that Cotto took, I fancy Hatton will beat Miguel now - and yes at 147.Yes, I know there's questions over Ricky's chin, but I now think it was more to do with the speed of the shots/not seeing them that put him in trouble against Pac. I know he was stunned briefly by Lazcano but Ricky should get a pass for that considering he was suffering from a heavy cold and the fight really should have been postponed.
