After he fought Hatton, I thought he looked a little slower than usual. But last night against Cotto, his handspeed was amazing. Of course it is a little slower than when he was below 135, but he still has his speed and quickness. I just rewatched rounds 3 and 4 a few times on youtube just now and yes, he still has it.

No way he is past his prime. He's in it right now. This fight reminded me a lot of Marquez II.

Also, he said in an interview with Brian Kenny that he took those punches and stayed on the ropes in round 4 because he wanted to show that he could handle Cotto's power. There could be other reasons why he did that, but that is one reason he gave.

Yeah, he did just ko a fighter who is damaged goods! Cotto is still game, but the moment he starts to take punches, he's done!

hahahaha I like that! But seriously, I dont think he's slowed. Maybe it seems that way due to Cotto being a pretty fast fighter himself!

Ehh i dont see it. Well honestly it depends on whether Pac was truly being stationary to test cotto's power or if he was trying to give himself a breather. considering it was early in the fight i would give pac the benefit of the doubt that pac just wanted to test cotto's power. also i wouldnt be surprised if he was getting used to the added weight that he has never fought at. later in the fight when he went into beast mode on cotto he looked as fast and stronger than ever!!! However there is no doubt that he probably only has a couple fights left in his prime. Pac has been doing this since he was a little teen kid and has been in a lot of wars. Hopefully Pac will give us 2 or 3 more fights before riding into the sunset...

pacquiao still needs to clean up his techniques--he was a little bit wild during the fight. But overall, this maybe near to his peak.

Now Cotto is damaged goods but before the fight weren't you trying to bet me that Cotto was going to blow Pacquiao away? You can't win sometimes I guess.
