Thank you, I get that a lot.

I think Pacquiao honestly should fight Mayweather and call it a career then. If Pacquiao falls off the deep end, it won't be in one night. He's going to take a respite, come back and fight once more. Pacquiao's legs did not have the same bounce that they did for previous fights, even the De la Hoya fight.

I thought his handspeed was just as impressive as ever... maybe even more so, given the weight and opponent. As Ryan said, what I noticed was him taking breaks, but as someone else said, that may have been to draw Cotto into a slugfest... only time will tell, I guess.

Seriously, there's a big difference between slightly past-prime
and something as bad as "shot". It can happoen overnight, sure,
but that's not what we're talking about
So is Mayweather. It's still not too late to make the fight. Mayweather is older at 33 so no excuses please. Pacquiao as taken more punishment so that's sort of an equalizer. What will determine the possible fight are skills and determination.

I do feel that that was correlated to his somewhat hectic training camp.. I remember watching the 24/7 ep saying that he was supposed to do elevated running but couldnt.. pacman has peaked.. imo, he peaked in the diaz fight.. no one can stay on top forever..

Not only were Cotto's punches the first real punches he's taken since Marquez, Cotto's punches were the hardest he's ever had to take in any fight. Cotto landed some good ones. You can see the effects on Pac's face and on his cauliflower ear.

I was thinking that, but honestly when he was in the corner and wanted to dance away he did so with ease. I just think like he said he was trying to prove a point and wanted to go toe to toe with Cotto after he realized he could take his shots. When hatton bum rushed him he moved very well, and the whole game plan against Oscar was not to get hit at all.

its because of the poor training camp and pac put on more weigh than usual (he looked like a little over 150, new to his body)

but i believe a good training camp would get his regular form back

I think saying he is on his way to being washed up is a little bit extreme. He did after all just KO Miguel Cotto

Nobody wants to stand there and get hit to the body and head by a bigger man. It reminds me somewhat of Hagler-Mugabi, where Hagler stood in close and took more punishment than he was accustomed to taking.

Showing good movement against someone as uncoordinated as Hatton isn't brain surgery.
