Why didn't COTTO'S CORNER STOP the fight?

Cotto is a champion and was the champion and belt holder in this fight. You dont just stop a fight like that. I think they shoulda let it go decision but i was also surprised about cotto saying he wanted to stop it in the 11. Its like he lost some heart after the margarito fight and just never bounced back.

Cotto was tired, beaten, and his will to fight was gone. He had absolutely nothin left, in that 12th round. I agree with the stoppage. IMHO It should've been stoppped earlier.

well in order to understand anything in cotto's corner you would have to be fluent in spanish. I downloaded te SKY sports version of the fight early this mornin and it sux, no post fight interviews or nothin.

i was pretty surprised they didnt stop it when cotto HIMSELF said he didnt want to go on after 11....

I thought I heard him say that, but I also remember him saying he talked them out of it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think he might have slipped up and meant they wanted to stop the fight.
