Why didn't COTTO'S CORNER STOP the fight?

What were they thinking? This fight should have ended in rds 8-9. Did they do it because of pride or did they actually believed Cotto could still win this fight?

well it was his heart, and he did it for his fans.

it was a medical risk though.

Cotto is a champion and was the champion and belt holder in this fight. You dont just stop a fight like that. I think they shoulda let it go decision but i was also surprised about cotto saying he wanted to stop it in the 11. Its like he lost some heart after the margarito fight and just never bounced back.

well in order to understand anything in cotto's corner you would have to be fluent in spanish. I downloaded te SKY sports version of the fight early this mornin and it sux, no post fight interviews or nothin.

The corner and Cotto himself had too much pride and I don't think Santiago had the guts to pull the plug honestly.
