Pacquiao didn't beat Cotto with JUST SPEED. it was a combination of Angles, Punching combinations from different angles, footwork, and accurate punching.

Judah tried to beat Cotto with speed, Mosley tried to beat Cotto with Speed. Pacquiao beat Cotto with Speed and ANGLES.

If you really been in a fight or any kind of fight you can see that Pacquiao hits and gets out of their with crazy angles and great footwork then hits again. Its not just speed speed speed. lol
And he overwhelmed Cotto after the 4th and on but he did it patiently and not just rushing in ******lybecause Cotto had no answers and was running from like the 9th to the end. What was Pac suppose to do? NOTHING? Plus Cotto hit Pac with some GREAT SHOTs, but we all knew Pacquiao gets hit and he took them punches great!!

so watch the fight again and see the angles of the punching and you will see what pac really is.
What sets that all up? SPEED. Didn't Roach say that after the fight? Those angles shots can managed more if Pacquiao had normal hand speed and foot speed.

His body language, told he gave up afte 8 rounds, cant say anythin else, this is what I think.

I still think Margarito cheated againts him by the way.

Manny Pacquiao, still comitted the same errros I pointed out before the fight. Cotto did owned him in the first roujnd with boxin skills, ut when Cotto decided to brawl, he made a mistake, got into Mannys game and paid for it. I think Cotto would had box, ut he didnt.

Im emarras when pacquiao told Cotto, to stop running and stand and fight **** was depressing really.

Anyways, the best man won, Pacquiao is clearly the bettter fighter and one of the best o all time, clearly the best of this era hands down. I still think Mayweather will schooll him, because he didnt do anything different in the ring, He just overwhelmed Cotto, with his speed.

And like I said no excuses the better man, won and thats all that theres to it.

Congrays to teh FIlipono fans, you really have one of the greates of all time!!

Cotto actually looked the best i've ever seen him. He was lean and much faster than he had been previously. I knew he couldn't out punch Pacquiao though.

If yuo box with Pacquiao he eats you alive on the outside, if you fight him, his guns are to powerful.

And as far a Mayweather, I wouldn't bet against Pac iI did it once and it will not happen again.
This just shows that you're still biased towards Cotto. It's like Champ said - Pac was the same as always. Cotto just doesn't have what it takes to handle that. Floyd does.

Don't try to analyze what's on Cotto's mind and make him looklike he's just after the check and a quitter, because he ain't.

I thought that was Cotto's game like most of his fans been saying here for months?

And Styles makes fightes and like I stated before the fight Pacquiao commits too many errors for a fighter like Maywether to not counter on them. And I still think Cotto will give FLoyd hell

                Styles makes fights Moron!!!
Ok, I agree with the first part (obviously), but I can't believe you STILL think Cotto will give Floyd problems. How? He is NOT the aggressive, come-forward body-destroyer he used to be. He now jabs and moves (runs). He's slow, methodical, takes too much time to set his punches up, and fights mostly from a conventional stance. He is not as wild as Pacquiao, but he would be even easier for Floyd.

Hehe I don't really understand half of this but I'm going to try.

I don't think Cotto necessarily "owned" Pacquiao in the first round and if he did win the first, which was a close round, it's one round. I thought Cotto's body rhythm and physical strength (though he wasn't putting too many punches on target) won him the round narrowly.

Cotto didn't "decide" to brawl as much as he was forced to when Pacquiao started pushing a faster pace than he was comfortable with. Pacquiao used his greater speed to jump in on Cotto's shell defense whenever Cotto tried to rest and take a break and that gradually wore down Cotto.

Speed KILLS. But its not the only thing that had him win the FIGHT. If Roach said RICE makes Manny's **** bigger would you believe him?? The point is you have two eyes and you should see Speed was A BIG Factor but not the only along with the angle the punches were coming from ALONG with the accuracy ALONG with Power in both of his hands.

What?!?! He looked even better in the Margarito fight than in this one. At least there he won rounds. No one expected Cotto to suck as hard as he did. My prediction was an 8-4 UD for Pac (with no KD's), and people were giving me **** saying I was crazy for not picking the bigger guy by KO.
