THE BEST. i know what people are goin to say, it was at 145, cotto not the same no more after marg. all i can say is cotto was in the best shape of his life, cotto was at his best. pac just beat the best welterweight in the world. cotto tonight would have finished moselys career and im a shane fan. people were sayin cottos too big, speed kills. and pac hits hard too, you saw that tonight, they should have stopped it in the 9th, all credit to cotto though, he is tough, real tough! i don think anyone else at welter could have finished out the fight, and cotto prob could have just made it but only cuz he ran the last six rounds. i have to say the first round had me worried cotto boxed great, but pac won every round after that. hes the greatest of our generation. if he beats floyd he will have to be considered as most likely the greatest p4p of all time, cmon do u really think ray robinson could stand up to this man? mayweather wont fight him no way hel use money as an excuse. this man is boxing at its best. all he needs to do is beat floyd and hes done, although d love to see him keep fighting, who else would there be. i hope now people will jus give the man his props, he deserves it.

Just an absolutely immense performance from Pacquiao, just incredible, definately one of the best offensive fighters of all time in my opinion. Definately the bes offensive fighter in any weightclass in the world right now.

Pacquiao = Best offense in the world
Mayweather = Best defense in the world

Mayweather vs Pacquiao = A fight so good your head will explode

EDIT: Massive massive respect to Cotto, fought like a true warrior and was gracious in defeat.

i agree completely floyd and manny both wont agree on 50-50 dont ever see that fight happeneing i say the winner of berto mosley get a shot at pac...or he goes down and takes on bradley either way i dont see pac losin anytime soon but i wish people werent so greedy so that we could see pac vs mayweather

This was a great fight. I know people are mad that Cotto didnt get to finish, but cmon..... He wasnt going to do anything in the next minute or so, and the posibility of him getting seriously hurt was there. Great job by Kenny.

I honestly was torn in half for this fight, thats why i didn't make any predictions or try to bet. I like both fighters.


I honestly felt bad for Cotto, he is a warrior but he took unnecessary punishment. Fight should have been stopped earlier.


Pacquiao was just too fast yes, but i think everybody underestimates his power. That dude has some snap in his punches and he's a hard puncher even at 147.

I like Cotto and i feel bad for him, but that being said i can't wait to laugh my ass off at the Cotto nuthuggers making excuses and crying. Steroids? Cotto was shot? Bring the excuses on.

i know, it's harder to talk to a guy who's ego is bigger than his heart. REAL fighters (like Cotto, Morales, and Marquez) didn't mind the cash, only the match.

Wow, what a fighter Manny is but I think a lot of us expected this. The fact is Floyd and Shane are the best Welters out there right now and Manny isn't a "true" Welterweight champion until he beats one of them. I think the bottom line is he needs to fight Floyd, then he will really have accomplished something if he beats him. But Floyd beats Many, IMO. And I'm not bashing Manny at all, he's an incredible fighter, there's no doubt.
