Holy cow...that was a one sided beating...I never expected for the fight to play out that way...Cotto's shots had no effect on Pac...and Cotto looked as bad as he did against Margarito......Infact now i have more reason to believe that margerito wasn't wearing hand wraps./...did you see cotto's face worse that margerito but this was from a guy who was a ex super featherweight.....margerito beat cotto fair....we just never seen cotto busted like that ever

I gave Cotto the first and that was it...there was one other round where it could have gone to Cotto...but otherwise the rounds all belonged to Pacquiao.

My sincere and deepest congratulations to Manny Pacquiao. As a Cotto fan I have always said the even though I favored Cotto I also said that Pacman had a really good chance to win and I defended that stans against those who were claiming that Pacman was to small. However I never expected the a outcome, more less the beaten and show that Pacman provided tonight. There should be no excuses other than that Pacman is a better fighter. Cotto was in great shape the 145 lbs was no excuse and neither the corner. No corner whether it would be Emmanuel Stuart or Freddie Roach himself, would had an answer for what happened today.

Today Pacman took and walked thru punches from one of the hardest hitting WW in the sport and just kept coming.

Once again my sincere Congratulations to Manny, all the Phillippine community and boxing itself, because Manny just porved that he is Boxing's most precious ans valuable asset of the sport.

i wouldn't call anyone the best of our generation yet.. look im not going to try to downplay Pac's victory beacause i was impressed and he did something i didn't think he could do but i still see a guy that is very beatable I feel like Cotto had the wrong gameplan he was tryna box when he should have been tryna put pressure and Cotto defense has to many holes for a guy like Pacquiao but Cotto sill landed some good shots now Floyd defense is the best in world and he can pop shot and move out so i think Floyd would be able to do a better job of what Cotto was trying to do if that makes any since

ya that makes total sense and i agree completely i had floyd winning with ease at first but with what pac showed me tonight i see it being a very very great fight but i unfortunately dont ever see that fight happening becuase of money issuse...they will both want a 60-40 split in their favor...the next fight i see for pac is the winner of mosley berto...whats your take on it?

bull****, Cotto should have never went down to 145 knowing he sucks at that weight. He only accepted this weight for the money and attention but he should never fight below 147 again.

Pacquiao looked impressive but if Cotto was at his natural weight it be a different story

and youre the first one to make that excuse...hows it feel? cotto didnt need to take the fight at that weight he WANTED IT and because he felt that it wouldnt matter...in all honesty it was only one pound less than he weighed for the clottey fight and i realize one pound can make a big difference but he looked great until he got caught in round 3...and even after that he looked good at times but pac was just too much for him and if you cant accept that then...your not a real fan of the sport of boxing

THE BEST. i know what people are goin to say, it was at 145, cotto not the same no more after marg. all i can say is cotto was in the best shape of his life, cotto was at his best. pac just beat the best welterweight in the world. cotto tonight would have finished moselys career and im a shane fan. people were sayin cottos too big, speed kills. and pac hits hard too, you saw that tonight, they should have stopped it in the 9th, all credit to cotto though, he is tough, real tough! i don think anyone else at welter could have finished out the fight, and cotto prob could have just made it but only cuz he ran the last six rounds. i have to say the first round had me worried cotto boxed great, but pac won every round after that. hes the greatest of our generation. if he beats floyd he will have to be considered as most likely the greatest p4p of all time, cmon do u really think ray robinson could stand up to this man? mayweather wont fight him no way hel use money as an excuse. this man is boxing at its best. all he needs to do is beat floyd and hes done, although d love to see him keep fighting, who else would there be. i hope now people will jus give the man his props, he deserves it.

Wow, what a fighter Manny is but I think a lot of us expected this. The fact is Floyd and Shane are the best Welters out there right now and Manny isn't a "true" Welterweight champion until he beats one of them. I think the bottom line is he needs to fight Floyd, then he will really have accomplished something if he beats him. But Floyd beats Many, IMO. And I'm not bashing Manny at all, he's an incredible fighter, there's no doubt.
