Well it was at 168 for the 175 belt as well... It was not a catchweight for the 168 belt... but it was a catchweight for the 175 belt...

How did that work, Light Heavyweight is between 169-175. There's no way that should have been sanctioned.

Nobody cares except Floyd stans trying to **** on the Cotto fight. That and the DLH fight which they seemingly forget wasn't even a catchweight fight at all. The catchweights have been around for a long time and will surely stick around. Get over it.

They did invent the Diamond Catchweight Belt for him. That is a FACT. He might not have been the first but that doesnt mean we cant criticize him for fighting Oscar at 147 then making Cotto weigh 145.

Is it really? Didn't Jose Souliman also wanted the Diamond belt for the JMM-Floyd but couldn't get the procedures done in time? Didn't Souliman found a way to make money for himself and ran with the idea?

Is he the first to fight a fight the regular limit and then make his next fight at a catchweight? Did Oscar get criticize for fighting Sturm at 160 then fighting Hopkins at a catchweight of 157? No right actually people were saying what a risk Oscar is taking... But, Pac does it you going to criticize? How many other people has done the same thing and didn't get criticize? Did you see how fat Oscar was against Sturm. Did you not watch Sturm beat his ass for 12 rounds? Ofcourse he would ask for a catch weight. In Pacs case he beat the **** out of Oscar at 147 so he had no reason to ask for Cotto to weigh 145.

What makes you think Floyd wouldn't endorse it? When Souliman came up with the idea Floyd didn't come out reject it... The diamond belt was going to be set for the JMM-Floyd fight... So apparently Floyd did endorse it... The only problem was they couldn't get the procedures done in time...


Souliman used Pac like he was going to use Floyd to make money... But, OK he used it still does not counter my argument at all...

How are you not going to call Oscar-Hopkins a risk for Oscar? Was you dumb enough to predict Oscar to beat Hopkins? Fact is nobody really gave Oscar a chance in that fight. So it was a risk...

Oscar spent 5 years at 154 then moved up 1 division to fight Sturm. Manny Spent 5 years at 126-130, had one fight at 135 then moved up 2 divisions to WW. They both ask for catchweights in their next fight and you criticize Manny??
