Im Starting To Think Arum May Be Right?

What did he say? 2.6 or something? IDK about that much but Im starting to think this fight will do huge numbers. I mean Floyd-JMM did 1mil with hardly any hype. Everyone is hyping this fight right now. I could see it doing some crazy number. I wont hate though. Im loving how boxing is getting all these crushing PPV's. The more the merrier if you ask me. I know I will be watching

IDK man, this fight is getting bigger by the second. Everyone wants to see it because they know Pac is one step away from a Mayweather fight and I think more & more people will start to buy it the more they hear real boxing people pick Cotto. Alot of mainstream fans dont know nothing so they think that its just a Pac show which is still exciting but not that much. Then they start to hear that Cotto is a real beast and could legitmatly beat Pac, thats making everyone want to buy it. You have all the stars here. Women also sell things big and I think women love the way Pac & Cotto are looking. It worked for Oscar and I think its going to work here also. I just think this is becoming the must see event so I wouldnt be shocked to see something crazy

The thing is, I would have the desire to order this fight if Arum threw a watchable undercard on it. But I'm getting my own condo and I'll have bills to pay. So those two factors there is why I have to pass on this one. Do I want it to do better than Floyd-JMM? Sure.

there was an insane of amount of hype coming from casual fans because of the genius marketing machine of GBP and Floyd. I hadnt seen a fight promoted and marketed that well ever. it was a beautiful thing to see really.

think about it, Floyd had to change up his persona to sell the fight. I know that sounds strange, but Marquez was the smaller, more unknown fighter. Why would Floyd belittle this unknown fighter? Why would he downplay his skill level? It would just be convincing the audience to skip the fight. It would be nice to witness a sit down with Floyd's team and GBP to see the strategies they come up with.

No it won't. The hype is definitely there for a big fight though. I think it can reach a mill now where as I did not before.
