The pad was dirty, used and looked like it had been around several times before. I'm convinced it was there against Miguel [Cotto]. . . . You can say it's circumstantial but in my view . . . it was more likely than not."

    Just an addition opinion.

The point is, majority of the article is pretty much old news. We've heard it all before.

Yes there is no evidence. As I have said 10000x why didnt Cotto's people find the plaster??????

Trying to be as neutral as possible... I still can't believe he only had a 1 year ban, boxing is one of the most dangerous sports in the world without loaded gloves
Say he hadn't been caught against Mosley, and Shane received damage to his brain... would Margarito have come clean?
The whole thing is just disturbing.

Boxingscene NSB posters have already established and expose all these theory.

Said it back then and I'll say it now; Margarito should have had all his wins overturned as No Contests.

If I, or you were in Cotto's shoes, it would be hard to just let go of it. When you feel cheated at something it eats you up inside.

It is a two sided coin he faces. I hope it makes him more mad and more focused. What I hope it does not do is distract him from this and other upcoming fights. He has to be ready for Manny and be at 100% if he wants his chance to win. The last thing you would want is a fighter going into the ring thinking or reliving too much as Manny will be there with a clear head doing his thing and his thing can be overwhelming to an opponent.

Manny and Cotto are my two favorite fighters and I just want them to fight a clean, exciting fight. I want to see a fight where they both stand proud in the end win or lose.

I agree. He has reason to be upset, as does Cintron. Cotto was on top of the world when he fough Margarito. If he had beat Margarito, the Pacquiao fight odds would not be what they are today. Maybe Pacquiao would be fighting Berto...or who knows. I've always maintained that the fight hurt him more mentally than physically. He just couldn't believe how a suave puncher/boxer like himself could get beat by the less talented Margarito.

I imagine that this fight for him is life/death. I think he knows he can beat Manny, but what is left to see is if he can "beat" Manny, which I'm sure he wants to do. He wants to win overwhelmingly, shock everybody, and then tell the whole world the Cotto of old never left, and the world can kiss his tidy-whitey wearing ass for ever doubting him.
