I actually felt that was a slip ( although many people disagree). When he was hit with that straight left, his legs didn't buckle at all, he just look like he was in bad position.Comment

Cmon man. First of all, there was no slip, I've seen it at least 10 times cuz I love that fight. The only thing you could say
is that berto was off valance, but that is still a knockdown. Bad call by the ref, but a slip is a total homer call- no way. Maybe you are confused as to what a slip is, you say it in your post, being off balance is not a reason to overlook a knockdown.Comment

Now that is a solid post. Berto definitely deserves respect for taking this fight. Shi t he had balls to take the collazo fight. One more thing, Shane is a great fighter, not very good. That may be arguable but he is definitely going to the hof. Definitely, so, even though there are a few boxers in the hof that aren't great, Shane won't be one of them. Do some studying on his resume and you will see it's BY FAR the best of anyone fighting at ww right now.Comment

That's what i meant, he just looked as if he was off balanced and not hurt. When he asked if Berto had been knocked down, I'm guessing he meant legit knockdowns. I guess you can say that he should have gotten a standing 8 count, only because Berto slipped into the ropes after Collazo landed the punch. When a fighter is hurt, he doesn't normally look back at the rope and try to grab it to keep their balance the way Berto did.Cmon man. PS. I also have the fight, and watched it live.Comment
