What happened when he fought Morales, Barrera & JMM in FW, Super FW? He didn't have impact on these weight classes? how about KOing the lineal JR WW champ? No impact at all?

Do you really think Cotto is shot??
If he's,Jennings, and undefeated true WW brit wasn't able to survive 5 rounds against Cotto's fire power.
Then,Joshua Clottey,a fighter clearly ducked cuz of his A defense and A workrate, wasn't able to beat a Cotto fightin with one eye, after cuttin him with an ILLEGAL headbutt.
      Is that shot??
I think Cotto had lost a lil bit,but the Clottey fight will give him confidence, because he was able to walk in hell and won a SD.

      I don't know.All I know is it's a hell of a challenge for a former 106 champ,who was fightin at 130 2 years ago.

LOL@ massive for a flyweight........there were fighters who were larger and taller than him when he fought in the Flyweights. Whether it was a lucky shot or not...it's a win he earned. Winning a title by a lucky punch isn't rare in boxing.

          COULD BE??

          Of course he's an ATG.
People(americans) call Hopkins an ATG now.
If Hopkins is an ATG,then Manny is an ATG HANDS DOWN,even if he loses tomorow.

          Lil comparison of both career.

Manny:4 lineal titles,6 Weight class titles

Hopkins:2 lineal titles in two divisions, but to Hopkins credit,he defended his MW title 20 times.

          Hopkins best wins:Tarver,WWright,Glenn Johnson,Trinidad,DLH.

          Manny's best wins:Morales (twice),Barrera (twice),Marquez(controversial but still a win),DLH.

We can critisize many of these wins,
basically,DLH,Tito,Winky were welters,in Hop's case. However,Manny was movin up,fightin bigger guys(comin from bigger weight classes),when he scored these wins.

Morales and DLH weren't really prime lions when they fought Manny.
However,Morales was just 30 years old,and Barrera was 29,winning his 5 previous fights including the Hamed and Morales wins.
DLH was nearly shot(wasn't SO bad against Forbes) and weight drained, but he cherry picked Manny, the later had to fight 12 pounds above by the way.

Losses:Hop has 5 losses,Manny only 3,but Manny get stopped twice,Hop never, and 2,3 of B Hop losses could have gone either way.

          HOPKINS NEVER GET STOPPED.
Manny, however,is a knock out machin in big fights, unlike Nard.

They only faced both one same opponent,DLH.lol
To Manny's credit,it's fun to see he did "better" than a beast like Bernard, stoppin Oscar in the 8th and losin no rounds.
But like I said,Oscar was weight drained at 147,TOUGH Manny moved up 12 pounds.

We can see Manny's record, achievements are differents, but good as Nards.
Based on the fact that Manny fought bigger men all his career(yeah,Morales,Marquez,Barrera,DLH,were taller or thinker dudes),and Nard smaller or same size dudes with the exception of Tarver.
I actually rank Manny higher in my ATG page.

My question is if Pac wins,,,what is he going to do.Will he defend the welter weight title at 147 or fight every fight at a catch weight???

              I agree with this part

Should Pacquiao go on to greater success against other Welterweights like Mosley and Mayweather, at a full 147 lbs., he will emerge as the undisputable Welterweight champion of the World and further establish the bar for greatness in terms of winning titles across the scale.

He will deserve full credit for it then.

just like a win against Cotto will validate Pacquiao's win against Dela Hoya and Hatton.

You gotta be kidding me. Nothing validates a victory over an old dehydrated De La Hoya...Hatton was a good victory but it is only Hatton. A win over Cotto just says he is a little closer growing a set and fighting somebody at their true weight.

look at the whole picture. No matter what you say, Pacquiao's win against Dela Hoya is an amazing feat. The fact that he jumped from 135 to 142 and fight a 147 fighter and actually beat him is pretty incredible. A win against Cotto will valide that his win against Dela Hoya is no fluke.

It cannot be too serious since he allowed it to be sullied by a catch-weight. If Pacquiao wins it will be fairly impressive, but tainted in my view.
