I'm a solid mayweather fan, However, if and when Pac defeats Miguel Cotto i think its safe to say that Manny is the best fighter of the common era, like since the early 90's or even prior.

Well, its not just beating Cotto. Its beating everyone else he's beaten, and the people he wasnt supposed to beat he beat.

The best fighter in history then. What did they do that was so good then? They were only human as well.
But no it wouldnt make him the best in history, but it would be a massive achievement for Pac to do it. And if you add it up with everything else he did.
Basically if he beats Cotto, people will understand why he beat Hatton and DLH as well, and wont make excuses that Hatton werent very good, or DLH was weight drained.

I agree with Paulie. If pacquiao beats Cotto decisively, then pacman is one of the all time greats. definately top 100 in my list if he beats Cotto decisively.
