like I said I got good things to say about cotto and then bad things... if that isn't unbiased I don't know what is.


pac IS the better boxer and he IS too fast for cotto... that said, cotto's size advantage will be too much. no elite WW should be losing to someone coming from a lower division even if he is an elite in that lower weight class. that's what its a shame if cotto loses... pac got no business at WW and cotto should smash pac to bits. its academic. cotto is too big.

it's ****in simple... last year pac was fighting jmm at 130 lbs, while cotto was fighting margo at 147 lbs. cotto has no excuse losing to pac. none.

Also, Mosley did outland Cotto in power punches, but that doesn't take into consideration who landed the more effective, cleaner blows. Who was controlling the pace of the fight, and who was more accurate which was Cotto.

come on!!!! power punches are more effective than jabs and you know its clean because they counted it. controlling the pace is ring generalship and that is a distant 3rd or 4th criteria (and only used in absence of clean effective punching) next to clean effective punching which is the 1st criteria of scoring a round. if you look at the stats mosley was landing more and landing more accurately power punches. the only thing cotto beat mosley on was jabs.... if I had to take a hit from mosley's power punches or cotto's jabs, I'd take cotto's jab every ****in day!

Anyway, the sheer fact that Roach is asking for a point after from one low blow has me thinking Manny still can't take a body shot.

Cotto is most definitely going to go to the body, and this is the only way Roach can do anything about stopping that.

Also, the only time Cotto's ever been deducted for a low blow was against Judah. Never had a problem with Shane, he was getting battered FAR FAR worse against Marg, no low blow. This alone really has me wondering how much confidence Roach really has in Manny and if his own hype and gone to his head.

Mosley in that link, if you would actually look at because I know you still haven't says "I think he might won won by a couple points or it was a draw." I'll even admit I took back the fact that he said he lost, by saying it was draw. Pacman doesnt need to start fast, but he has to fast for the full fight. I give Pacman the edge, but he needs to stick to an "in-and-out" strategie and he needs to be a good tactician. He needs to be the player and give the rythem. If Pacman tries to adapt to Cotto, he will certainly lose the fight. But Cotto is not Marquez, but he is somebody who can adapt very well.

But speed will be one major factor in the fight. More than power imo.
