      Arum is clearly favoring Pac.
      He wants the p4p fight next.
      He also needs a name for Margarito to fight.
      Pac winning is in Arum's best interest.
      No point to a trilogy with JMM if Pac wins.
      If he loses, the fight still makes sense.

          It just means that he knows Mayweather would pick him apart. Its no secret, just look at the styles. Pacman would have to become a pure boxer to stand a chance. Not even the 'great' Roach could help him in this one.

            It means he doesnt want a Manny Pacquiao fight fighting a boring fighter. People will assume Manny Pacquiao is a boring fight after defeating a boring fighter.

              Floyd sent a powerful message to the Pac Camp via JMM. {You Guys ain't ready}

              And Arum isn't ****** ... he knows full well that Floyd would end the **overhype and send Pac into his next career {Politician} with a good send off.

              **{I say overhype because I think some are overdoing it with the Pac-Man] He is a great, great fighter ... But he's not the second coming.

                  Arum is one sneaky and wise old man. Give the impression that he is favoring Pac all the way (as are most pundits) so he can then rejoice in how amazing Cotto's so-called upset was and subsequently promote him as the P4P king for beating the unbeatable Pac. Cotto, and Arum, come out of this with increadible leverage in any negotiation and, if the fight is competitive, the rematch is on.

                  Shock the world Cotto. Shock the world.

                    Arum isn't really sounding too confident of putting his meal ticket in with Floyd. I like Pacquiao a lot better than Floyd, but I've got to be real and know in my mind that Manny stands no chance against Floyd. And the fact that Pacquiao is avoiding the fight puts more pressure on Floyd to stop ducking top fighters in and above his weight class that want to fight him like Mosley and Williams.

                    I don't like of how Pacquiao is saying he wants to fight JMM again. That fight is not warranted at all. If Pacquiao doesn't at least fight Shane Mosley, it's gonna look like all he wants to do is fight Latino fighters. JMM needs to get his confidence back before I get interested in a Pac-JMM trilogy. I would be happy for JMM to get another good payday if the fight happened. But the fight has lost it's shine because of the way that JMM looked against Floyd.

                    And the fact that Arum is saying he doesn't know if the fight between Pac and Floyd would be competitive is making his own fighter look bad. That is not what he should've said. He should've said something like it would be a boring fight because of Pacquiao having to chase him around. Not that he doesn't know whether or not the fight would be competitive. That just makes it look like he has no confidence in Manny.
