Pac reaches the ropes. Cotto hammers his right, landed unto pac's gloves and hit him slighly in the head, cotto then hammers the left hook,misses, pac was out. pac then went back lighting quick hammers a straight left. Hit cotto to the ropes. three punch combination from pac. left uppercut, right hook, left straight. he was able to land the left uppercut but missed the other two.
pac backs out again after the combination.
Cotto's face was reddened. But He didnt looked hurt. continues to go forward. setting up jabs.
Pac was trying to box cotto setting up right jabs. and then jumps in throwing the left straight which hits cotto, and then pac jumps out..
Cotto toe-to-toe with pac when pac entered, combination from cotto, right straight, left hook to body, and right hook. cotto wasnt quick enough that he was only able to timed and land the right hook and miss the other punches, but it didnt damage pac the way he wanted it.
pac also landed a 1-2 combination a left uppercut and a right hook during the encounter.

I expected Cotto to be strong and very toughis, and i was able to feel his power.

Q: Being able to be the first ever boxer to achieve 7 titles in 7 different weight divisions how does it feel?what is it to you?
Pac: Oh.im just an ordinary fighter,my job is just to fight in the ring,
and i really prepared hard for it. but ofcourse, im proud, coz its a filipino who first achieve it...
Q: What can you say about a possible fight with your rival mayweather early next year?(crowd shouts and cheers)coz its the fight that people wants. and its gotta be really really big..
Pac: mayweather is great fighter. i can fight him anytime anywhere as long as my promoters allow me to..we can settle it at 140-147lbs..thats not a problem with me..i know thats the fight people want, and i want it too.i hope floyd mayweather wants it too..
Q: Which fight are you interested more?
winning another belt in another division against a possible opponent chavez jr.
or a mega-bout against floyd..?
pac: i can fight anyone, i can fight them both,
but its the job of my promoter to settle my fights.its history again if i win another belt in another division..but people wants the mayweather fight.and its my job to get their expectations and excite them.
Q: Another names were included, and they were Mosley and a possible third bout against marquez..
Pac: like i said, i can fight anyone, and my job is just to fight in the ring.

hatton: i didnt expect this to happen. i mean. i was physically and mentally prepared to take this fight with him. i've trained hard for this. BUT it just happen that he got me..to fast..
I tried to neutralize his speed and also to knock him.. i believed he had a very lucky night.
and he was able to outspeed me..he surprised me also..with his power.
All i can say to manny, is congratulations..he deserved all the credit..
Q: Did you expect his power?
Cotto: Im not that much worried about his power right from the start, and that it will be his speed that will matter most.but when he got me, it feels like i got hit by huge welter guy..i didnt not expect it..in both hands..
Q: How will this fight affect your career?
Hatton: Well, i dont know whats next for me. for now, ill just take a rest. it depends...my family is real worried with my health..
