If its true I figure that's a pretty good number since Zab fought a cab driver and Casamayor fought some nobody...and neither Zab or Joel are big names...
Judah/Casamayor Pay-Per-View Cracks 100K Buys

my source in the distribution industry tells me it did between 13,000 and 20,000 buys.
20,000 x 24.95 = 499,000 gross
less 45% in distribution and production costs = 274,450 net
274,450 in ppv revenue is a lot more than the 30,000 that ESPN pays, so by that standard the show did well......Comment

Cassamayor and Judah also didn't fight for ESPN purses. The entire production had to be paid for as well.my source in the distribution industry tells me it did between 13,000 and 20,000 buys.

13,000 X 24.95 = $324.350 gross
less 45% in distribution = $178.392.50 (Playing Devil's Advocate)
Now use that number and minus all the associated cost and purses.
Also, I am sure it was silent investor's money. And I also believe it was a loss to the investor. For what it's worth I also don't believe it did 13,000 buys.Comment

really doubt Judah can make 140 at this point
and as for fighting the top 5 at 147, he's already fought Clottey, Mayweather and Cotto ... so Zab fighting another top Welter wouldn't surprise me at all.Comment

Hasbeens making money damn!!! I would have never thought these washed up jeans would make that amount, but there is alot of dubfux in this world..Comment

Hard to believe it did those numbers but if those guys want to fight on small PPV so be it, not like it hurts anyone. It is probably a btter way to make money then just throwing it on ESPN.Comment

I can believe a number around 13,000. I mean, Roy against Shieka did 34,000 buys. Not too hard to believe that this did 1/3 of that......Cassamayor and Judah also didn't fight for ESPN purses. The entire production had to be paid for as well.
