I also question Peterson's stamina a bit. He's been tena few times, and I don't think he's been twelve once. He'll need to prove his stamina as Bradley always comes in great shape and can throw for twelve rounds.
I don't think stamina will be an issue

The good ole Peterson grunting. Never gets old.

If he can go twelve and keep a the high pace that is needed, then more power to him. I just want to see him do it against one of the very best 140 has to offer.

Bradley is fighting in front of his home crowd on his promoter's card.

Peterson's typical defense consist of catching punches on his gloves and elbows.

Bradley throws an incredible amount of punches. The majority of these punches being ineffective scoring attempts.

Therefore, Peterson will have to change up his defensive game plan and slip more than he catches. Because he tries to catch Bradley's punches the crowd will think he is getting hit and cheer loudly thus influencing the judges.

Peterson must also go hard to the body early and often. This will slow Bradley's motor down.

Peterson is the more skilled fighter, but he is no KO artist and to leave it in the judges hands on someone else's home turf and on their promoter's card is a scary proposition.

        Speed - Peterson
        Power - EVEN
        Defense - Peterson
        Footwork - Peterson
        Heart - EVEN
        Chin - EVEN
        Experience - Bradley
        Reach - Peterson
        Height - Peterson

If Peterson stays hard to the body early he may get a late round stoppage. If no stoppage than it is a pic em in the judges hands which probably won't bode well for Peterson unless he just severely out classes Bradley.

Thats a great point Shadows. I think Peterson should definitely be looking to command the centre of the ring, against the ropes giving Bradley momentum is not where his fight is imo, use that reach and make Bradleys' lack of height work against him.

DC Fight Fan i dont see a stoppage for Bradley, no way.

        Good post.

I cant wait for this fight.

I think Holt, Bradley, Peterson, Alexander gonna make some great match ups in the future.

            You forgot about Khan!

140 is a good division. Lots of good talent, with different styles. You've got: Bradley, Holt, Peterson, Alexander, Khan, Maidana, Urango, and Paulie. There's also Diaz and Campbell (not to sure about their futures) and Pacquiao hold the lineal title, but I doubt he'll be fighting at 140 anytime soon.

Oh and btw, Peterson will have to watch out for Little Evander's head.

You forgot to add Ortiz in there too, he has tremendous talent in my opinion!

Yeah, I did forget him. Hopefully he is able to rebound from his last fight and post fight interview.

Just goes to show how good of a division it is right now. It doesn't have the star power of 147, but it's a deep group with a lot of evenly matched and skilled fighters.

The fact that Willy Blain was ever in the fight with Peterson has me going with Bradley. Still, Peterson is highly skilled and should not be underestimated.
