I am not saying that he isn't a smaller man moving up and fighting a bigger man but pointing to weightclasses someone fought in years ago as if that specific fact has any bearing on anything currently is senseless.....like I said is SSM fighting Cotto more of an accomplishment for SSM because he started out a weightclass below Cotto? If Pac wins he is a LW/JrWW who beat a good legit WW and it would be a great accomplishment.....the other weighclasses he fought in during his physical development are irrelevant now.

i don't know how you can rip on pacquiao when he's attempting something no one has ever done before.

if what pacquiao is doing was nothing special, then former flyweight champs would have been beating the crap out of former middleweight champs all the time.

not to mention he's after his seventh title, and has already acquired 4 linear titles. im no boxing historian, but im pretty sure that **** doesn't happen too often.

I mean I don't want anyone to get me wrong, him winning titles in different weightclasses is a great personal accomplishment. Lets just keep that in the box of "personal accomplishment", and not have it crossover into a place where it has some bearing on other issues......didn't think this would end up in any kind of debate where ppl make feeble arguments though
