  • Did David Haye Set An All Time Record For Fewest Punches Thrown In A Victory?

Can anybody think of another example where a fighter attempted less than 150 punches in a 12 round fight and still won?

This should be a fun challenge, anyone who can find an example confirmed by some kind of authentic punch count # will win 25K boxingscene points from the Hitman.

Haye threw 143 against Valuev based on the totals I have seen, That's an average of under 12 attempted punches per round.

Someone find an example that beats it........

Froch threw more, but landed less in his "victory" against Dirrell.

I can only think of Zeljko Mavrovic - who lost - and who also threw more punches - 25 a round.

for all we know maybe valuevs camp set it up so they
can have an easy rematch and payday ...
haye didnt win nothing .. they both just walked around for 12 rounds

I'm getting the impression that nobody can recall a fighter doing so little and winning.

C'mon people, there has to be someone who threw less punches in 12 rounds and won...

                  Well probably not.....
