At just 26, are Juan Diaz's best days behind him?

Even though he's just 26 years old, Juan Diaz has accomplished a lot in this sport. Title reigns at lightweight and wins over top competition.

But one must ask, have we already seen the best Juan Diaz has to offer?

Can he become more than what he is today? Or will it be all downwards for Diaz?

No he has more. but the only thing I see holding him back is his trainers..he needs to switch up his game plan get a nutritionist and kind of start over. I beleive he can still get cut up and maybe get some more power into his punches. I beleive he has hit a wall at this point..

I think he needs to take some time off depending on how he does against Paulie the second time. Take like a year off, redidicate himself to his body, then take it from there.

There's no reason why Diaz shouldn't continue fighting at 135. If he continues his career at 140 and doesn't make boxing adjustments, his career is over. If he rededicates himself to making 135, I think he'll be much better off.

I like Juan. He's a great role model and a true example of a student-athlete. I wish him nothing but the best.

I agree with this pretty much,he needs a complete change of approach. At 26 he is young, but he has been in some tough fights and fought a lot of rounds.,maybe he can get something going but I doubt it. He has a few things going for him outside of boxing,so he may decide not to pursue it.

Juan Diaz should be fighting at 130 not 140.

He will never be cut up, ever. It's not in his genetics. The only way I see this is if he takes steroids or starves himself.

I don't think he has a problem physically, I just think his limitations are in his power mostly. He's a tough, aggressive fighter but his lack of power goes contrary to his style when you think about it.

BS, there is no reason for a boxer to have the bodyfat he does. Doesn't make sense.

He had it enough to earn me a little over 1,000 dollars by stopping Julio Diaz.
