I just re did those numbers, and they are not right. I read that and assumed it was true but when I did the numbers on my own it doesnt make sense. His purse was probably around 35-40 then.

Not really exposed at all. I stated a number that I read read from a source I believed to be legitimate. Upon a few minutes worth of research, I realized this source, and its statistics on the fight were flawed.

it's not guaranteed + purse + ppv or whatever

the guaranteed money is just a minimum of how much they get paid.

that means even if the fight flops , they'll make that amount.

I commented on that also. Total gross revenue for that fight would be around 60 milion. PPV carriers, athetic commissions, promotors, advertisers, undercard fighters, opponents etc. I could go on and on you know would eat at least 2/3rds of that revenue. Then there are other expenses. and that is not net income, that is just the cost of the promotion(inclusing the other fighters I guess). That is not including the bottom line of profit that HBO wants and what GBP wants.

They are not going to let Floyd walk away with all the profits. I guarantee Floyd made no more than 15 million.
