100yrs from now people will be talking about Pac making being the first Flyweight linea champion and Featherweight lineal champion. Being the first 4 time lineal champion in 4 different weightclasses. While nobody will be talking about Mayweather.
I don't even think Mayweather will be broke. I think he'll be pretty well off. None of that impacts us though so it doesn't matter. But for some reason some of these Mayweather fans just love braging about how much money their fighter makes.

The guy makes movies, sells albums, has a deal with Nike and has a bunch of other endorsement deals in the Philippines.

      He's been getting paid.
      So, why finally?

I think how much these guys make is relevant in pondering who is avoiding who so its something that should be talked about.

Damn Pacquiao could walk away with a whopping 2 Million dollars from this fight with cotto..

Damn Nov.14th will be a great night for the Pacquiao family.
Pacquiao is going to pulling in 2 Million in 1 night !!

            ONLY in Las Vegas...
I don't know why I'm even entertaining this thread, but anyway...

Arum doesn't get dime one from either purse since he promotes both fighters. Promoters get paid off a fighter when they fight on someone else's show (which is how smaller promoters are able to stay afloat after years of losing their ass or breaking even on their own shows). It's illegal for them to take a cut of their own fighter's purse on a show in which they're the promoter of record.

You've already been informed of the part where those are just the guaranteed purses. With the guarantee at that modest rate, they stand to make a handsome ransom for the PPV upside, which is basically anything over 450,000 if my math is correct. There's also the overseas TV rights, which puts extra money in at least Pacquiao's pockets.

On a separate note... spamming your own thread with the same rhetoric is fine. But let's keep it limited here and not have it spread throughout the forum.

If PPV sales hit 1mill then Pacquiao earns a total of 10Mill while Cotto earns a total of 6Mill.
