Valuev's been getting dodgey decisions galore for ages.

It's beyond rich complaining about this.

i agree with you dude. froch was aggressive, rather than just plodding forward, to the degree that all dirrell could resort to was holding and wrapping himself around froch like an eel. absolutely no disrespect to dirrell though, who looked massively useful and will only gain and flourish from the experience.
to summarize the haye - valuev fiasco, we may now have haye vs ruiz...but then perhaps haye vs either klitschko, povetkin, solis???...now that sounds a lot better on the eye to me than say valuev vs ANYONE, inc ruizzzzzzzzzz (opps, just nodded off), or anyone else for that matter.

            Those fights where similar.
I dont think so, the fights were verry different. I saw Froch beating Direll verry close, but Haye beat Valuev clearly! Valuev couldnt land any significant shots on Haye, while Haye landed most of his punches. I know he didnt threw manny, but he landed more and much cleaner shots than Valuev. Froch was able to hit Direll better than Valuev hit Haye and he was more aggressive than Valuev.

please, haye hardly ran. He boxed. Something valuev is not, and has never been able to do. And valuev probably won 4 rounds, tops, it was slow and dull, but it wasnt terribly close in terms of clean punches landed

I didn't hear any of this talk when Valuev was receiving all the close decisions until now.

I had Dirrell winning a tight decision, but the comparison between the two fights is a poor one. Last time I checked Froch wasn't a foot taller and nearly seven stone heavier than Dirrell. Dirrell could have boxed differently and who knows might have taken the title home with him, Haye on the other hand fought the only fight he could and any sane boxing judge should recognise that. Fortunately two of them did.

fair comment deadbeat.....but handsome, in all my years i've never seen a boxer running yet 'kicking' (often used boxing phrase??) the **** out of someone, i mean is that even physically possible???
