Cotto does not have equal hand speed as Pac. That is just crazy. However, timing and a strog jab will beat speed everytime. And, Cotto has that. But, Pac is so unorthodox and his punches come fast and from different sometimes weird angles. That IMO is going to be hard to time. We will find out on Nov 14. I can't wait. I honestly believe is a 50/50 fight...

        smh.

Clottey got decisioned cause he stop punching...and he stopped punching because he was getting countered and if he was getting countered it means he was getting beat to the punch and if he was getting beat to the punch it means Cotto had faster hands and was stronger in the championship rounds.

Get over it...or go the pullcounter route...and implode as a poster.

It's hard to judge Cotto on that fight..because the first 2 and majority of the 3rd round..Cotto was Cotto..cautious in the beginning and turning it up..than the headbutt came..

if the headbutt would've came say around the 7th or later..we'd see what Cotto really had to offer against Clottey in full health with 2 eyes..
Cuts happen. Jmm was butted in the 4th round against Pacquiao and had a cut which was just as bad. Against a much better fighter.

Well Judah and Mosley are just as fast as Manny and never once did you think in either of those fights "those fighters are overwhelming Miguel". They weren't beating him to the punch and actually cotto was catching them and outboxing them. So while Cotto may not have the same handspeed....the real picture you should be gertting from this is that Cotto will not be overwhelmed like all these other boxers Manny has faced.

No way was that cut just as bad!..no where near it..

it looked nasty cuz of that thread that nacho would put in it..but that cut was no where near similar to Cotto's..

Boom I'm dissapointed in you, no way can any objective person say Cotto was faster than Clottey no one.

Like Rashad Holloway said recently--it's NOT Pacquiao's hands speed that's impressive it's his footspeed. Rashad said Pacquiao's hand speed was pretty quick but he's seen faster.

I'm telling you guys, Pacquiao's hand speed will not be factor in this match. I gaurantee it. It will be his movement.
