Actually we do. how do you see it before being stopped in the 6th? would it be competitive before that, or would he be elusive?

Would it be an accumulation, like the DLH fight or bombs everytime he connects like the Hatton fight?

Both fighters try to make statements in the first round...Cotto comes out trying to be patient and stalk manny...reverting back to his Pre Mosley way of fighting smaller men...Pacquiao will be elusive through out...but not as unhittable as most Pac fans think...Pac man using in and out leg movment darts in...I believe that the first time Pac lands in the fight will be the key to whether or not he can win the fight...If he lands on Cotto and Cotto walks through it ...Big trouble in Pacland...If he gains Cotto's respect it turns into a strategic fight....With Cotto becoming more of a counter puncher...If Pac can't hurt Cotto ...Cotto goes into stalk and kill mode...which I what i belive will happen...Cotto will use his piston left jab to catch Manny coming in as he lounges with big lefts...Manny will be frustrated with the constant jabbing and begin to try to stay in the pocket longer then he would like to try to land(round 5 by this point)...this is when Cotto begins to land the left hook that spells doom for Pacquiao...after Pac gets tagged he will revert back to the toe 2 toe fighter that made him who he is today....Cotto with his bigger frame and stronger shots stops Pac late in the 10th.

If i'm wrong i'm wrong...but it's whats been in my head.

              Thoughts?
Good one. I'm actually rooting for Pac and I think he should be wary of that jab, it has knocked down bigger men before. Does anyone still think Cotto's stamina may be an issue?

I see this as playing out as an old Cotto fight. Manny is going to come out hitting Cotto with bombs, but Cotto will walk through them, though losing the rounds. Slowly but surely Cotto will keep creeping in on Manny with the jab slowly wearing Manny down, by round 6 the fight is even in terms of damage being done. Once we get to 7 or 8 we'll see Cotto's body work start wearing Manny down and visibly start seeing Manny getting slower and bouncing less. Round 10 comes around and Manny will be on full defensive mode, though still firing punches back, he won't be running just be on the defensive. Cotto by TKO or KO in 11 or 12 rounds, possibly by a body shot or the Ref/Roach calling the fight off.

                  Pacquiao by split decision.

It will be a war 'till the end.
                  Mark my words.

Not that I want this to happen, but...

First round starts out and Pac and Cotto both come out not throwing much but the nervous energy level of both guys is obvious. Neither guy does much to make a fight of it for the first minute. Cotto starts to pop out the jab but he is playing very defensive and not really committing to the punch. Pac tried a few leads and lands a couple with no effect, but his speed advantage is clear. At some point towards the end of the round Cotto gets close enough to try and test Pac a bit and gets him on the ropes. Cotto starts to open up to the body a little bit and Pac counters with some quick shots off the ropes. Pac reaches for an uppercut in the last couple of seconds and just misses. Neither guy is the clear winner.

Round two starts off with a much higher level of activity from Pac and he starts to try and find a good "in and out" rhythm, while Cotto is still being cautious and tries to offset the activity with stiff jabs. Cotto still looks like he is feeling Pac out while Pac looks to be getting more comfortable as the round goes on. The hand and footspeed difference is starting to become obvious and this is about the point in the fight that Emmanuel Steward says "I see this being a long night for Cotto." Cotto isnt taking much in the way of damage but Pac's movement isnt allowing Cotto to set up for his shots so he is doing alot of chasing. Round two ends and it's a clear Pac round.

Round three starts and Cotto tries plan B and basically muscles Pac to the ropes and finds some success. You can see that Pac is feeling the body shots, but when Cotto stops throwing for a moment Pac side steps and lands a vicious uppercut. Cotto is out on his feet and covering up. Pac rushes and bombs away and Cotto takes a knee. He gets up but is clearly fuucked at this point. When the action resumes Cotto starts to back up and covers up and Pac unloads again until the ref waves it off. Pac KO round 3.

Keep in mind, Im actually rooting for Cotto. But the training videos show Pac working on uppercuts and Cotto is open to those. He will never see the punch that does the damage.

Cool unbiased post coming from someone rooting for Cotto.

Conversely, i am rooting for Pac but i don't think it would be quick nor easy.
