    Catchweight king?
I thought this is the first catchweight fight PAC is in?
    Last 3 fights:
    135 vs Diaz =lightweigth
    147 vs Delahoya =welter
    140 vs Hatton =junior welter

The DLH fight was a catchweight, but that was in DLH's hands. This is Manny first fight at a catchweight, calling him the king is just idiotic. The problem is Manny fought at 147 before, it just shows he's willing to fight an old fawk, but a prime WW needs to come down to make the terms fair. Maybe it was or wasn't Manny involved, but either way he gets the stigma attached with it, that's life.

I get your point but DLH was considered catchweight because DLH was a light middleweight coming down to Welter but it wouldn't be the first time people on the site made quick generalizations for a recent occurrence.

But if someone wants to follow that train of thought then that would also mean Marquez/Mayweather was also a catchweight fight because Marquez was a lightweight moving up to welterweight.

So would that not make Mayweather the catchweight king then?? Because both Hatton and Marquez moved up to fight him.

Imagine the outcry had the fight been held at 154? In the end DLH still took that fight from JMM.

Cotto has no one to blame if the catch-weight affects him. He believes it won't affect him and is confident he can win.

                    We shall see.

Its pointless in calling Mayweather a catchweight king, because he's just a *****. I'll give Manny credit for fighting Cotto even at 145 over Mayweather fighting Cotto from here on out. Manny asked for a catchweight Mayweather retired, end of story.
