Joe Calzaghe = One Of The Best Boxers Ever

He is probably my favourite of all time. But I'm pretty new to boxing, I don't think he's the best of all time, but he's definitely one of the best of my time as a boxing fan.

But objectively speaking his resume needs more than what it was to line him up alongside with some of the top boxers of all time.

If he had taken Kelly Pavlik, then gone to Hopkins and Jones, then Dawson and finished off with one of the biggest british showdowns ever, by taking Froch, I think he could be up there.

But I don't think he could do so much to get the respect of the americans, they just don't like his style. If you like one punch type of guys, you will never admire Joe Calzaghe. But I do think his style is one of the most exciting ones I've ever seen. I mean it's action from the second that bell rings to the match ends. Never seen anything like it.

I am a big Kessler fan, so when they met ofcourse I were split between a rock and a hard place, I hoped for Kessler to win, well he didn't, I can't hate Calzaghe for beating my champ, it's a gentlemans game and the best man won on that night. Can't say what would have happened in a rematch though, if the rumours about Kesslers hand were true.
