Like Mosley said, Cotto's speed is deceptive. When I see him sparring i ask myself why is he sooooo slow, then when he gets in ring he handles the fast fighters and looks alot faster than when he spars. Strange.

Not strange. Practicing slowly helps you become more precise. Like a musician practicing scales, it helps greatly to go through them slowly and repetitively.
