Compared to the slow and plodding pad work we've seen lately, he does look faster. He needs to be accurate with those.

this one reminds me chavez vs taylor fight..speed vs power...we all know how it ends...and let me tell you..taylor was as fast or a bit faster than manny...cotto has a very similar style as chavez had, taylor ended with permanent brain damage,he pissed blood like a week, and finished the fight with a broken jaw, taylor didn`t quit,no sr,he was a fantastic boxer, everyone thought that he was gonna win,but even if he wins,he already lose it all, watch his story.power destroys speed all the time, peace

But Pacquiao , is not only speed he also have Power in both hands. that the different from the other boxer which has speed but don't have 'pop' in their hands.

What you got to understand about the slow plodding mitt work that Cotto does...is just what you type about...Slow plodding mitt work helps with strength and accuracy...So when you get in the ring and move full speed your going way faster and hitting the target from muscle memory.

close but cotto's hands are not of stone, cotto hasn't knocked out a meaningful opponent in a while chavez was takin heads off so this won't be that

its not being blind obviously cotto is a welterweight but being bigger does not mean that you are better. He will have the size advantage which has been stated but he won't have the speed despite what you think this video has proved. Cotto has looked good in his training but no belts are won with headgear, it only counts in the ring. Plus there is not going to be a who is going to punch the fastest competition it will be who can get there punches delivered effectively if yo are a millisecond late you're late
