are british boxers overhyped?

im one of the most level-headed boxing fans out there...i live in california, but i couldnt give two ****s about any fighters race, nationality, creed, etc...

unfortunately, many boxing fans do...especially the british, IMO...and british fans always seem to have an agenda, IMO...

so, i figured i'd put it to a vote...which british boxers are overhyped, and which are worth talking about on a national stage...

personally, i think khan is least worth discussing...other than that, no british fighter excites me, with the other three i can think of as haye, hatton, and froch...

Hey I also had Dirrell winning, clearly actually. Froch is not very good but is he a hypejob? nah to be a hypejob you have to acutally have been hyped something Froch hasn't.

He doesn't have the best skill and is not the most athletically gifted but he is tough and will expose a talented fighter who is not ready to dig down deep and actually fight in a boxing match.

i never said ALL brits are hypejobs...i personally feel khan is a pretty legit fighter...although it seems that he wants to leave the UK for good due to racial discrimination...

haye is a very solid cruiserweight, who should be fighting adamek -- another wannabe heavy -- at cruiser...the K bros will send him into retirement...if you dont agree, id be willing to bet with you anytime, any place...why do you thing haye backed out of fights with both K bros?

hatton is flat out done...theres only one ricky hatton...true...and his overrated ass should be retired...he had his day...he was even worth watching in his prime...dudes just done now...brits who dont realize that are fooling themselves...

as far as froch, he an ok super middle in his athletic prime who just got beat by a young and inexperienced dirrell...any boxing fan will tell you that froch's 25-0 record should be 24-1 without a doubt, for the simple fact that he landed like 5 punches in the dirrell fight...

people outside of england hate froch for the same reason they hate hay...dude cant shut his mouth...

some americans -- incliding myself -- actually like khan and hatton, because they aint so god dammed arrogant...

Well, I don't think, I know. He backed out because they tried to make him sell his soul. Rather than being straight-forward and fair, if Haye won they wanted him to fight their dad, their mother, their uncles, and their ancestors, plus give them 99% of his earnings for the duration of his life and feed their cats twice a day. Thankfully, he told them where to shove their smelly little contract.

Having been in the music business and handed the ****tiest contracts known to man, I know how he feels to be overwhelmingly disgusted at a shady contract that tries to lock you in and can potentially ruin your career and your future forever. The bottom line is the Klitschko Brothers are cowards who cannot give a man a fair fight, but want to control his destiny and **** up his life instead.

Haye would have earned NOTHING for fighting the K Bros. Instead, Dave took the sensible route by fighting Valuev, becoming a world champ, and therefore putting himself in a much better position. Now he doesn't have to sell his soul just for a crack at one of them. David Haye is much smarter than you realize.

Is he not in a better position now? Yes he is. So you can't say **** about his decision to do the right thing and essentially tell 'em to **** off.
