Kelly Pavlik didn't do a David Haye on Paul Williams

I can understand his camp's concerns with pulling out. They want him to be in absolute 100% shape to fight Williams, and he clearly wasn't. Not being able to close your hand into a fist that close to the fight would have been detrimental in preparing him for the fight.

However, his camp should have been more responsible about it and shouldn't have signed the fight and let the promoting get so far just to pull out. It was a giant **** tease to the fans, the fighters, and the promoters.

I seriously hope his hand heals the *** up cuz I'm a Pavlik fan and I wanna see him in the ring with a top rated opponent.

Pavlik pulled out of the williams fight citing a staph infection yet he can fight 2 weeks later or whatever against some unknown bum. I lost all my respect for Kelly.

Haye made up an injury to get out of a fight where he wasn't going to get paid a dime. Seems reasonable to me.

^^^ Not to forget entering a contract where his next few fights would have been dictated by the clit's. Instead fight a world champ (an overrated one) gaining more publicity and bargaining power. Mr Haye is a smart man.
