The fight was established at 145 and there should be no excuses of weight drain. Cotto accepted the fight and had plenty of time to get prepared for it. He will come in at 145 not only because he has shown to be a proffesional and a man of his words, but because there will be 2 million reasons for him to do so.
For every pound that he goes over the 145 mark he will be penalized with 1 million bucs, so if he shows up at 147 that will be 2 million bucs that will be taken from his purse and giving to Pacman.

Cotto has said himself, plenty of times that for the Clottey fight when he weighed in at 146, he did not have to do nothing special in terms of exercises during the last 2 weeks because he was already close to the weight, for this fight he had a longer training camp and will have no problems to make the weight.

I'm a Cotto fan but I also agree with you guys. There should be no excuses from Cotto's stans regarding the weight!!!!
