Is middleweight the WORST division in boxing?

Outside of Kelly Pavlik, Felix Sturm, Mundine, and Winky Wright, who's in the middleweight division? I didn't include Williams, but I guess you can if you want.

Either way, 160 has traditionally been a great and very deep division. Not now.

So is middleweight the worst division in boxing currently?

Heavyweight is the worse by a huge margin.

160 has been a horrendous division for more then a decade, I honestly don't remember the last time middleweight was truly hot.

It is sad because middleweight is a great class, dudes who are athletic but have real stopping power, I hope it comes back at some point.

Light Heavyweight is pretty bad 2. you look at the top 6 and you got 4 guys who should retire, Chad Dawson, and a guy who will never step foot on American soil.

I was just looking at the rankings. My god.

The fact that Winky Wright holds down the #9 spot on boxrec shows exactly how bad the division is.

How do you sit out for two years, come back and get your ass whooped and still manage to be in the top ten? I guess it just goes to show that no one is in that division.

A guy who will never step foot on American soil? I hope you are not talking about Pascal.

                  Yes.

It's easily the thinnest division in boxing. Buddy McGirt Jr. was #10 not too long ago after beating the #6 (the guy who wears the ring on his head in the ring), Marco Antonio Rubio after him.

Heavyweight, cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight, are next.
