Hmm, while I can understand what you're saying, do you realise that Barrett was called in at the very last minute? He had no preparation and had come off a KO loss to Haye, and with Haye he had a long, very solid prep.

Not saying it matters much, but it was pretty obvious why Barrett got stopped and didn't present as much of a problem to Solis.

Anyway, maybe they should fight. It could be good and if Solis loses he might try to actually get in shape.

I'm sure he'll lose the belly in his next few fights. He's got the footwork and all around talent to give any heavyweight problems.
I dont think you have to gain fat to gain muscle. Solis has build up muscle but also much fat, hes eating to much or the wrong food i geuess or hes not doing enough cardio. At the amateur fight with Haye the both weigh the same, today Solis is 50 pounds heavier than Haye, even though Haye has build up muscle to.

Its all about genetics. some people have to put on some fat to build muscle or they cant support it or sustain it. then others can build muscle with very little fat easily. your right about diet! If he cleaned that he could get where he wanted

Solis has put on 50 pounds or more since his amateur days. He is just too slow and immobile.
