What makes Don King so bad? Has he been sued? Yes. What promoter hasn't? Don King has made incredible contributions to the sport and the fact that he's been blackballed doesn't take away from those accomplishments. If King still had pull, we'd be seeing great undercards, instead of the crap we're fed today.

There's a video of Adam Booth being interviewed in the video section of Boxingscene. Booth said King won't be a problem when negotiating with the Klitschkos. Haye just put himself into a hell of a better place to negotiate with the Klits now he is WBA Champion!!

Klitschko admits Haye won but still he wanted the decision given to Valuev,on what basis?Shouldnt the better man win?Klitschko is now worried fighters wont be robbed the way they used to be in Germany anymore. He has been beating short guys but knowing also that he wouldnt ever lose a decision, now he knows he really has to fight.

I'm just happy for Haye,he's a great fighter and I hope the fight with Klistchko will get done soon. The earlier Haye knocks Klitschko out the better.By the way Vitali has started bitching,I guarantee bucketloads of excuses why he would want to avoid Haye.Haye might end up getting belts via lawsuits.

Vitali, of course, is right on the money. Evander did at least as well if not better than Haye and lost. So did John Ruiz. So Haye suddenly signs up with King, fights a crappy fight in which Valuev looks better than he did against Evander, and Haye wins the title? Pure bull****.
When it comes to Don King, nothing is on the up and up.

Klitschko sounds bitter just because Haye won and now he's pissed off because Haye has a world title. He's trying to find ways to discredit Haye's win so that it makes the Klitschko's look like the real champions, which they are, but it's very classless of him to do that.

No, Vitali is just telling the truth. Evander and Ruiz both looked better than Haye did against Valuev. And neither one of them won. What does that tell you?

Realistically how many shots do you think Valuev landed?
How many do you think Haye landed?
                  Who landed more power shots?
                  Who hurt the other?

N.B fights dont get scored for moving foward if you are not connecting. We have a term for such, nice try but not good enough

Vitali didn't say he wanted Valuev to get the decision. He just said he's surprised Haye won when others have done better than Haye did against Valuev and lost. Makes perfect sense if you learn how to read. His conclusion is that Haye has some kind of deal with King that obviously Evander and Ruiz didn't have. Ruiz had the balls to go toe-to-toe with the Giant, which you can't say of Haye, who ran for most of the night. So King and Haye have something planned, and it probably looks like Ruiz, then a Valuev rematch, then maybe Ray Austin, and on and on.

You are missing the point entirely. It was a close fight and usually Valuev wins close fights in Germany (see: Holyfield, Ruiz). The fact that Valuev didn't get this decision indicates that something has changed, and Vitali figures King called the shots. As for the fight itself, it wasn't much different than Froch-Dirrell, with Froch coming forward and missing all night and Dirrell running and buzzing Froch a couple of times. Who won that fight?
