David Haye should fight James Toney.

I think David Haye should fight James Toney because it could sell in the UK, but I think it would be in Hayes best interest to fight him in the states and with both of their big mouths the build up & promo to this fight would be classic! David Haye could make a name for himself by beating one of the best technical fighters of this era and former #1 Pound for Pound James Toney.

But in the end I think David Haye would be way too much for James Toney to handle, Haye is bigger. faster and stronger & would beat Toney to the punch all night. This would be a great way for Haye to build his rep in the states and in the sport of boxing. And also building up his potential showdown vs one of the Klits

also not to mention Toney's latest comments...

"As far as David Haye, dude is all talk; that's all he is, he aint nothing but an ol' joke, just like the rest of those British fighters, they all jokes."

"I would fight Haye in the UK, so I would let him pick the weight class and venue. How could you turn that down? I would go there with my American Flag colors and as soon as I get down, I would piss on the British flag."

I don't care for this bout, I see Haye beating Toney, Ruiz, and all those fighters. I see Tua killing Haye in the ring, hopefully the kill part doesn't happen if that fight ends up happening. I think if Haye really wants to prove himself he should get in with Tua or one of the Klitschkos asap.

Though, I'm not liking Tuas attitude problem about not chasing fights with Haye*a winnable fight for him but he chooses to fight Wlad who could beat Tua like Lewis did.

thats the thing though...hatton got ****** rich sitting in England for a bunch of fights. So did Zags.

The Klitschkos stay primarily in Germany and make a killing.

Other markets exist besides the US.. Though I do agree that US is the biggest one.

But the thing about it is, they have so few fighters comparatively to invest their interest in. So their smaller market... goes towards a select few fighters= Still big money for those fighters.

No, Toney is **** right now, one of my favorites fighters and everything but a win against him means nothing at this point. He should fight someone like Arreola, Wlad, Povetkin, Tua or Chambers. But I can see your point though.
