I never agreed with this, simply because you can't time what you can't see coming. Also, it's harder to time fighters with an unorthodox, syncopated and unpredictable rhythm, which is exactly what Manny Pacquiao has and why Joe Calzaghe never lost.

This "timing kills speed" thing only appeared since Floyd Sr. said it on 24/7, and he can **** right off because he failed dreadfully along with Hatton to time Pacquiao like they said he would.

Sam, I am just bringing another perspective on this way of thinking. I mean I hear "speed kills" all the time here. Which I believe isn't true. I mean if that was true Cotto would have lost to Mosley and Judah. He didn't he was able to overcome those two fighters, by timing them and with precision. Also believe me Cotto WILL see Pac's punches. That is another phrase that gets played out too much on here. I mean even though many of you think it Pac cannot throw supersonic punches that cannot be seen.

That would be true if Floyd Jr was the one fighting next week. But, it's not, it's Miguel Puto.

Please boy, timing does kill, but Cotto's timing ain't good enough to kill PAC's speed.

It's more like PAC will kill Cotto's timing along with everything else.

I just completely disagree with this.

                  Marquez was timing Pacquiao repeatedly

Winky was able to time Shane with his jab as did Forrest.

Oscar was timing Floyd with his jab.

                  etc. etc. etc.......

Just giving you ****...I understand your point! Foot work IS essential. Cotto also has this.
