What he needs is an opponent that will bring the best out of him. Obviously Glen Johnson can no longer do it unlike in their first fight.

He should be looking for fights against Pascal and Cloud instead of Bernard Hopkins.

Even if Dawson does in fact have fair punching power, which has recently been criticized, there's no way he could stop Bernard Hopkins, Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver. Those are three opponents that don't get knocked out.

I can't argue with that.

The only thing I will say is having Hop on his resume would be great. I doubt the fight ever happens. Sort of like Mosley vs Williams being a high risk/low reward type of thing. There also not fighters who want to pass the torch.

Dawson vs Pascal will be next. HBO seems interested in that fight since Max brought it up
