yes i compared Cotto to Gatti.Cotto would get tagged up all night. and the fight will be stopped in the same fashion has Gattis fight
I highly doubt floyd tags cotto up. Floyd would be on the defensive all nite long. he doesnt let his hands go as much as he used to(not that he ever had a high punch output). Gatti had absolutely ZERO defense. Cotto doesnt have the best defense, but his defense is underrated. Cotto is light years ahead of gatti in his prime imo.

Your second statement is just dumb. We're talking about the Mayweather-Margarito statement. Is that the way you saw it? Really?
Alright I see you wanna argue with me real bad so fine, but i am not in the mood to argue with a hard head, honestly.

Mosley was willing to go down to 140 to fight Manny Pacquiao at 38 years old, if that is not a sign of desperation then i really don't know what it is and i'm done with that subject, please don't insist.

Margarito was a no name when he called out Floyd. Best wins against, who? nobody. He had losses against Daniel Santos and Paul Williams. There was nothing in it for Floyd in terms of business and moving forward with his career. Floyd was looking for bigger and better things, he was looking to split with Arum and fight Corey Spinks at JMW for Spinks title but that fight never materialized because Spinks had a mandatory to face. DLH had halted his decision on wether to fight Mayweather or not. That left Mayweather hanging out in the open on who his opponent should be, then along came the best opportunity of his career at the moment, after leaving Top Rank and beating Zab Judah(which there was a verbal agreement on the fight happening either way) he had a 10Mill offer on the table to fight the WBC/The Ring Champion Carlos Baldomir. If you don't understand any of this then further discussion will just result in opinionated answers that i honestly am done getting in to in Boxingscene because everyone here is an expert while i'm just a "Floyd stan who knows nothing about the sport". I'm done.

He does prove it in the ring, but I'm talking about the casual fan like the ones that bought Floyd/Marquez or Floyd/De La Hoya. There is name recognition involved here. Most people I'm sure don't know who Cotto is. Why do you think people are already talking about Pac vs Floyd? Cotto is just not a big money draw. Cotto fans don't go gett'n your panties in a bind. I went to see him fight Quintana. He's a very good fighter but I'm just making a point about the business side of things.

It's a shame you're done because you're going to need a lot more.

Please tell me why what Mosley said he'd do against Pacquiao is relevant? Please tell me why him being "desperate" is relevant? How does this rule him out from discussion? Why does this matter?

If Margarito was a no-name then what was Baldomir? How many Baldomir fights had you seen before Judah? And where did you read Floyd had a "guaranteed" 10 million against him? You're just regurgitating what Floyd says with nothing concrete to back it.

People are trully understimating Cotto timing and speed.

His style is a true nightmare for Pacquiao style.

Well written. It begs the question...why was not Mayweather promoted with the same mainstream channels as Manny or Cotto? Mayweather was the biggest attraction and talent Arum would ever hold and he didn't nurture and relish that opportunity the same as his other two big names (more Manny than Cotto) I wonder about the motivation?

I'm talking facts and you're ****ing not, you're all about ****** opinions and that's why you don't see me getting in to any discussions here anymore. Everyone has to type out their opinions but never bring up any facts. Mosley is irrelevant to Mayweather, what the *** makes you think Mosley is a good move for Mayweather??? tell me please??? Margarito was a no name and why? and Baldomir was the WBC Champion that he won by beating the Zab Judah that just came off his best win against Corey Spinks, also Baldomir was the The Ring Champion, that's who he was. And the "where did you read about the 10Mill" crappy question is just a strawman's argument.

Mosley is desperate to get that last big check at 38 years old. where was he when Floyd called him out? when Floyd wanted the top guys at WW, Mosley had a toothache remember that? If he beats Berto he will become the WBC/WBA Champion and still won't be relevant to Mayweather because the only fight Mayweather should be interested right now is a fight against the winner of Cotto-Pacquiao, those are the relevant guys, not 38 year old desperate Mosley who has no choice but to settle for a fight with Andre Berto because the big names are not interested in what he brings, talk about karma .

Oh, the irony. Your whole post is so devoid of facts, I honestly don't know where to begin.

First of all, Shane Mosley is not some no-name. He's been in countless big fights, is well-known and is also the world's #1 welter. And you're asking how this is relevant to Floyd? Get a clue. What you need to ask yourself is, how is him wanting a big fight exclude him from big fight discussion? Who cares if he's "desperate?" That's just an opinion, anyway.

Second, this notion that Baldomir was a bigger name than Margarito is just false. Margarito had been fighting on HBO and Showtime for years. He had headlined PPV's and established a strong fanbase on the west coast. This wasn't some unknown from Argentina, he was a long-time champ backed by Top Rank that had nearly every one of his fights televised. Your ignorance doesn't make him unknown.

As for the 10 million dollar guarantee, that's crock. I'd like to see you provide a link of this - you know, facts? He was guaranteed 8 mil and a share of PPV, no different than his offer to fight the nobody Margarito. I'll gladly provide proof.

The only reason in Floyd's favor as to why a Margarito fight didn't happen is because Arum would've been involved. Well..if what Floyd says is true. Because if it's because of Bob, how does he plan on facing the Pac-Cotto winner? Well there's always Mosl...oh wait.

                    Facts?
